The attack was a conspiracy to tarnish Pakistan's economic and strategic cooperation with China; However, such incidents do not affect the relations between China and Pakistan, the statement said.

China is investing hundreds of millions of dollars in Pakistan. China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is being built at a cost of six billion dollars.
